In the afternoon  Sai  often listened  to their concerts.  Sai watched them dance in devotion,  apriciated their magical feats and listened to their bhajans.  He corrected them and suggested improvements whenever necessary  and gave them money and blissings.

Sai also encouraged art and talent.  our great country is home for fine arts - music, literature,dance, sculptures, painting magic, martial arts etc. around 64 of them.  In the days of yore all the people were well versed in the fine arts, mainly 16 items of them.  The benifits of developing these talents are many.  They instill discipline, perseverance,  confidence, the urge to become close to divine and they provide us with a vocation. The monarchs and kings understood this very well.  They encouraged and supported their subjects to learn them as it is also easy to govern people with ethical nature.  But with with the onset of forign rule, the whole system was destroyed.  
Baba changed that in that small village.  Whenever artists turned up at the doorstep, Sai welcomed and  blessed them.
