A clean and neat environment is necessary for good health. Cleanliness is next to Godliness. The people of Shirdi did not give importance to cleanliness. All the people used to through the garbage in the middle of the village between Baba's Dwarakamai and the neem tree where he would often sit and meditate. But Sai did not apriciate this. Whenever people through garbage, there, He immediately picked it up and through it far away . After a few days, the people them selves started throwing the garbage far away. Baba cleaned up the place thoroughly and prepared the soil for a garden. He brought some saplings from the near by villages, Neemagaon and Rahata and planted them. He drew 2 pots of water from the wel far away and took care of them. After a few weeks, the flowers blossomed and the lovely garden tended by Sai Himself ceated a very pleasant atmosphere. Blessed indeed are the people of Shirdi who witnessed all this.
